THE STANDARD | June 2019, Revision 5 7 EXPECTATIONS PERFORMANCE MEASURES 2.7 Critical equipment/systems are identified, tested and maintained.  Safety critical equipment is identified through risk assessments/major hazard review and managed consistent with the Kosmos Global Standard for HSES Risk Management  Performance standards and assurance programs are established for quality and mechanical integrity of safety critical equipment  Well control barriers are maintained in accordance with the Well Integrity Management Standard (WIMS) 2.8 The health and security risks to employees and contractors are managed at Kosmos sites and during business travel.  Medical certificates are obtained and testing is performed when required by applicable codes and standards for equipment operators, marine crews, and those holding safety critical roles  Access to medical examinations are provided to company personnel for evaluating their fitness to travel  Standard contract terms and conditions include requirements for fitness for duty plus alcohol and drug restrictions in accordance with the Kosmos Global Standard for Contractor HSES Management  Travel preparation and in-country travel requirements are communicated in accordance with the Kosmos Global Standard for Traveler Care  Journey Management Plans are conducted for road travel outside of designated areas in accordance with the Kosmos Global Standard for Journey Management to Remote Locations  Up-to-date country-specific health and security risk information is available and communicated to relevant personnel in country and to travelers prior to departure  Medical care and security risk assessments/reviews are conducted by competent personnel for new country entries  Security plans are developed, implemented, and communicated based on risks for field sites, offices, ground transportation, and hotel/lodging  Medical plans are developed, implemented, and communicated and include consideration of local medical resources  The Kosmos Global Standard for Malaria Control and the Infectious Disease Preparedness Plan are implemented for travelers and expatriate assignees where infectious diseases are endemic 2.9 HSES performance is reviewed in the selection and monitoring of contractors, vendors, and service providers.  HSES assurance mechanisms are implemented through the contract life cycle based on Contractor mode and risk in accordance with the Kosmos Global Standard for Contractor HSES Management  Security contractors are selected and trained in a manner consistent with the Voluntary Principles on Security and Human Rights Protecting our people...
