In October 2025, Kosmos Energy’s Vice President and Country Manager of Senegal, Khady Dior Ndiaye, joined a panel at African Energy Week in Cape Town, South Africa. She spoke about the potential of Senegal’s gas resources to power domestic industries, expand access to affordable electricity, and strengthen regional cooperation.
Khady reaffirmed Kosmos Energy’s commitment to supporting Senegal’s domestic supply ambitions alongside export goals. With GTA Phase 1 now producing, attention is turning to future phases aimed at delivering low cost gas that powers industries, homes and long-term progress across the region.
The discussion reaffirmed that with the right partnerships and shared ambition, Africa can deliver affordable, reliable energy for all.
