Julian Austin
Senior Vice President, HSE, Facilities & Production
Dr. Austin joined Kosmos in 2019 bringing 25+ years of engineering and global leadership experience to the organization. In the current position he leads several functional teams providing independent technical support and assurance to Kosmos production operations and projects. Prior to this role, he served as VP, Engineering from 2019 – 2023. His career has included a variety of global operations and engineering roles, providing leadership and deep technical knowledge to large-scale strategic engineering challenges in both operations and project environments. Dr. Austin holds a PhD in Engineering from University College London and a Masters Degree in Engineering from Trinity College, Cambridge University. He is a Chartered Mechanical Engineer and Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers.
