Kosmos Energy is built upon a foundation of ethical behavior, and we have set high standards of business ethics for our global operations.
All Kosmos board members, employees, and individual contractors are expected to act with integrity, professionalism and fairness at all times, and report any concerns they may have regarding the conduct of others.
Business Principles
Adopted in 2013, our Business Principles are the foundation of our company culture and reflect Kosmos’ shared values, inform our business practices, and define the standards to which we hold ourselves accountable.
We share our Business Principles with employees, contractors, and external stakeholders, and require employees – including senior leadership and our Chief Executive Officer (CEO) – to comply with all aspects in their work activities and when representing the company.

Payments to Government
Kosmos has disclosed its payments to governments on a country-by-country and a project-level basis since 2014.
Our Payments to Government report is prepared in accordance with the UK’s Reports on Payments to Governments Regulations 2014 (as amended in December 2015), with some voluntary additional reporting that we believe provides helpful further detail or contextual information.
Please note that previous year’s reports’ data tables may not be comparable, either to each other or to this year’s tables. This is because our methodology for reporting payments to governments has been refined over time, including based on consultation with civil society and end users of the data.
Whistleblower Hotline
Kosmos uses an anonymous Whistleblower Hotline as a vehicle for employees, third parties and others to report, without risk of retaliation, violations of any Kosmos policy, including the Anti-Corruption Compliance Policy. All reports go directly to the Chief Compliance Officer, the Vice President of Internal Audit, or the Chairman of the Audit Committee, as appropriate.
