The well was the first in a series of play-opening wells designed to unlock the Agadir Basin. Importantly FA-1 encountered oil and gas shows suggesting the presence of a working petroleum system. The well also provided key seismic calibration information and the well results are now being integrated into Kosmos ongoing petroleum system analysis of the basin. The potential timing and location of our next exploration well is still being determined. We continue to maintain activities at our shore base in Agadir in between drilling operations. As one of the first companies to explore offshore the country in recent years Kosmos con- tinues to help set the standard for how the industry does business in Morocco. MANAGING OUR FOOTPRINT Kosmos has offices in Rabat the capital of Morocco as well as our shore base at the port of Agadir. We have invested significantly in safety equipment and training for employees and contractors working at the port of Agadir. In 2014 we had a Lost Time Injury Rate LTIR of zero and many of the man hours contributing to this excellent result were from workers at the port. We aim for an injury-free workplace no matter where in the world we operate and recognize that each individual needs to play a role in this effort through safety vigilance awareness of surroundings and focusing on the task at hand. We also increased investment in building the infrastructure at the port of Agadir necessary to support our drilling campaign offshore Morocco. Kosmos and its contractors upgraded Kosmos continues to mature prospects for exploration drilling offshore Morocco. We drilled our first well there known as FA-1 in April 2014. The well reached a total depth of 3830 meters and was plugged and abandoned after failing to encounter commercial hydrocarbons. MOROCCO 22 COUNTRY SPOTLIGHT MOROCCO
