Kosmos Energy discovered the Jubilee Field in 2007 and brought the field on production on November 28, 2010. The Jubilee Field is located on the West Cape Three Points and Deepwater Tano blocks in the Tano Basin approximately 60 kilometers (km) (37 miles) offshore Ghana and 130 km (81 miles) west southwest of the port city of Takoradi. Water depth in the Jubilee Field area ranges from 1,200-1,700 meters (3,960-5,610 feet). The FPSO “Kwame Nkrumah” is moored in about 1,200 meters (3,960 feet) of water.

Jubilee Phase 1 partially develops two primary sandstone reservoirs in the Jubilee Field with nine production wells and full pressure support from water and gas injection wells. Pre-production samples were taken from each test well in both field horizons and bench blended to create a representative crude sample at full production.
